Started on 15 April 1972, the Rotary Club of Kankaria (Ahmedabad) enjoys a very distinguished position in the community. Pursuing the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self“, with total membership of about 105 members at present the Rotary Club of Kankaria (Ahmedabad), has continuously strived to fulfill the real needs of its serving community. It has executed permanent, regular and occasional projects to satisfy the needs of all – children,  youth, adults and the elderly. The club has developed all its wings – The Charitable Trust, Rotaract and Interact- youth wings of Rotary, and the Rotary Community Corps to realize these project dreams, the lnnerwheel club — The women wing, as well as sponsored more rotary clubs.
